Super 8 Hotel - Rifle Colorado

Rifle Mountain Park

Soothe your aching muscles in the Rifle Super 8 hot tub after a day of climbing and hiking at Rifle Mountain Park.

Rifle Mountain Park is world famous in the climbing community for the density of world-class climbing routes it offers. The park has over 250 bolted routes to choose from.  Climbers flock to Rifle in the summer and fall to challenge themselves against the sheer canyon walls.  In the winter, the park's multiple frozen waterfalls attract ice-climbers, and other visitors can spend time in the magical ice caves on Koper's Trail.

There are a number of different picnic spots to choose from throughout the park, and Koper's Trail is an easy hike that displays many of the park's interesting geological features.

Rifle Creek flows through the length of the park and offers a number of good fishing holes. Just below the entrance to the park is the Rifle Creek Fish Hatchery, which is free to the public, and offers a great educational experience on sustaining trout populations in Colorado's lakes, rivers and streams.

Just north of Rifle Mountain park are a number of four-wheel drive trails, many of which offer access to the Flat Tops Wilderness Area.

A parks pass is required to park and can be purchased at the self-serve kiosk near the park entrance.
